Wok Box started in 2004 as a single storefront on Jasper Avenue in downtown Edmonton, with lines wrapping around the block from day one. The idea was simple: Asian food beyond the mall food court, cooked fresh in a real wok a few steps from where you order. The Upper Stoney Creek location is a single-storey building. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 21 and 44 stop right outside. Inside it has a modern-minimalist feel. There are booths, strollers fit easily, and it's wheelchair accessible.
