We store your favourite restaurants' details directly in the cookie so there's no need for your browser to make API calls or server lookups. Your favourites page reads directly from your device and renders instantly, works offline, no account, no login, no email, no password, and it's fast - no loading spinners, no "fetching your favourites..." Nothing ever leaves your device, which means privacy isn't a promise we make, it's how the thing is built.
