Wok Box started in 2004 as a single storefront on Jasper Avenue in downtown Edmonton, with lines wrapping around the block from day one. The idea was simple: Asian food beyond the mall food court, cooked fresh in a real wok a few steps from where you order. The Pinecrest location is a single-storey building. There's free parking in the lot, and the route 423 bus stops right outside. Inside it has a modern-minimalist feel. There are booths, strollers fit easily, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible.
