Wok Box started in 2004 as a single storefront on Jasper Avenue in downtown Edmonton, with lines wrapping around the block from day one. The idea was simple: Asian food beyond the mall food court, cooked fresh in a real wok a few steps from where you order. The University Heights Suburban Centre location is a single-storey building, steps from University Heights Shopping Square. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it has a family-casual feel. Strollers fit easily, the washroom is wheelchair accessible, and there's an open kitchen.
