Wok Box started in 2004 as a single storefront on Jasper Avenue in downtown Edmonton, with lines wrapping around the block from day one. The idea was simple: Asian food beyond the mall food court, cooked fresh in a real wok a few steps from where you order. The Evanston location is a single-storey building, steps from Kincora Park. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it has a modern-minimalist feel. Strollers fit easily, it takes reservations, and it's wheelchair accessible. On Saturday, Sunday, kids twelve and under eat free.
