Wok Box started in 2004 as a single storefront on Jasper Avenue in downtown Edmonton, with lines wrapping around the block from day one. The idea was simple: Asian food beyond the mall food court, cooked fresh in a real wok a few steps from where you order. The South Surrey location is a two-storey building. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it has a family-casual feel. There's a patio, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. On Saturday, Sunday, kids twelve and under eat free.
