Wok Box started in 2004 as a single storefront on Jasper Avenue in downtown Edmonton, with lines wrapping around the block from day one. The idea was simple: Asian food beyond the mall food court, cooked fresh in a real wok a few steps from where you order. The Kenmount/Thorburn location has free parking in the lot, and the route 10 bus stops right outside. Inside it has a fast-casual feel. It takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible.
