The Chopped Leaf started in Kelowna in 2009, opened by Blair Stevens and his wife Karla, who couldn't find a quick, quality meal that fit how they wanted to eat, so they built one. The name is literal: the vegetables are chopped in front of you. The North Shore location sits in Northills Shopping Centre, with free parking in the lot, and the route 3 bus stops right outside. Inside it has a modern-minimalist feel. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids eat free every day. The Chopped Leaf runs kids-eat-free at select locations, and this is one of them.
