The Chopped Leaf started in Kelowna in 2009, opened by Blair Stevens and his wife Karla, who couldn't find a quick, quality meal that fit how they wanted to eat, so they built one. The name is literal: the vegetables are chopped in front of you. The Southgate location is a single-storey building, steps from Super Save. It sits in Summit Shopping Centre, with free parking in the lot. Inside it has a modern-minimalist feel. Strollers fit easily, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids eat free every day. The menu runs on wraps, plus salads, noodles, quesadilla, and sandwiches. The Chopped Leaf runs kids-eat-free at select locations, and this is one of them. Service is quick and friendly.
