Symposium Cafe began in London, Ontario in 1996 as a dessert destination and grew into an all-day cafe with Renaissance-style frescoes on the walls, part diner, part European coffee house. Dessert is still the point. The Burlington location is open from eight in the morning to eleven at night, Friday and Saturday until midnight. There's a full bar and a patio. On Sunday, kids twelve and under eat free.
