Kids eat free at Pickle Barrel in Toronto’s Davisville Tuesday.
The Pickle Barrel opened in 1971 as an 85-seat Jewish deli on Leslie Street in North York, with a lineup outside the day the doors opened. The menu has grown past 300 items; the idea never changed. The Davisville location sits in Yonge Eglinton Centre, with free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 34 and 74 stop right outside. Inside it has a family-casual feel. There are booths, there's a patio, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. On Tuesday, kids twelve and under eat free with an adult entrée.
