East Side Mario's opened in 1987, inspired by the noise and abundance of Manhattan's Little Italy. The original logo was the Statue of Liberty holding a tomato, and the unlimited soup, salad, and garlic homeloaf has anchored the table ever since. The Brant Hills location is a single-storey building, steps from Burlington Mall. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it has a family-casual feel. There's a patio, it takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. On Tuesday, kids ten and under eat free with an adult entrée.
