East Side Mario's opened in 1987, inspired by the noise and abundance of Manhattan's Little Italy. The original logo was the Statue of Liberty holding a tomato, and the unlimited soup, salad, and garlic homeloaf has anchored the table ever since. Buses on routes 56 and 96 stop right outside the Downtown Newmarket location. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. Maybe more for grown-ups, but the Tuesday kids deal makes it an easy family stop. There are booths.
