Denny's started as Danny's Donuts in Lakewood, California in 1953 and has run around the clock since 1956. The first Canadian location opened in Vancouver in 1970, and more than 70 now serve breakfast all day across the country. The South Whitby location is a single-storey building. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 905 and 917 stop right outside. Inside it has a family-casual feel. There are booths, and it's wheelchair accessible.
