Denny's started as Danny's Donuts in Lakewood, California in 1953 and has run around the clock since 1956. The first Canadian location opened in Vancouver in 1970, and more than 70 now serve breakfast all day across the country. The Fairview location is a three-storey storefront. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 9 and N17 stop right outside. Inside it has a modern-minimalist feel. There's a patio, it takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. On Tuesday, Sunday, kids ten and under eat free with an adult entrée. The menu runs on steak, plus burgers, eggs benedict, omelette, and salads. Service is quick and friendly. The food comes out fresh.
