Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Fort Frances location is a modern single-story standalone building with blue-grey stucco walls, light grey stone veneer accents, large windows, and prominent red circular Boston Pizza logo with white canopy entrance, steps from Rainy River. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, there's a patio, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
