Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Central Vancouver location is a two-story modern concrete and glass building with red BOSTON PIZZA signage, front patio, located next to BC Place Stadium dome structure, steps from BC Place Stadium. Buses on routes 1 and 6 stop right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, strollers fit easily, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
