Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Downtown Chatham location is a modern standalone restaurant with beige stucco walls, grey stone veneer base, large red Boston Pizza channel letters, and circular red/blue BP logo mounted on front facade with dark grey metal awning. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There's a patio, strollers fit easily, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
