Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Kentwood location is a two-story plaza building with brown brick base, beige stucco upper level, stone accent columns, and large windows with Boston Pizza signage, steps from Fas Gas Plus. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game. There are booths, there's a patio, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
