Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Milliken location is a single-story strip mall end unit with tan stucco upper walls, beige stone veneer lower portion, dark grey metal roof, and prominent red Boston Pizza channel letter signage with circular logo, steps from Risebrough Park. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, there's a patio, and strollers fit easily. It takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads.
