Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Martensville location is a single-story strip mall restaurant with tan stone veneer facade, large windows, and red Boston Pizza channel letter signage under a dark grey metal canopy. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, strollers fit easily, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible, and there's an open kitchen. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads.
