Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Duvernay location is a single-story strip mall restaurant with light grey stone facade, dark grey metal siding, large windows, and a curved entrance canopy with prominent red Boston Pizza signage. There's free parking in the lot, and the route 48 bus stops right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game. There are booths, there's a patio, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
