Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. This Central City location is a single-story strip mall end unit with grey stucco base, brown wood-look panel upper section, large glass windows, and prominent Boston Pizza signage with red circular logo. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 97 and 98 stop right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There's a patio, strollers fit easily, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
