Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. This Downtown location is a single-story strip mall unit with beige stucco walls, grey stone accent columns, and large glass windows with prominent red Boston Pizza channel letters above the entrance, steps from Centre Square Mall. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, there's a patio, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
