Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Northeast Mississauga location is a single-story plaza restaurant with beige stucco walls, red brick base, large glass windows, and prominent Boston Pizza signage with red BP logo on decorative tower element. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 17 and 57 stop right outside. Inside it has a family-casual feel. There's a patio, it takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads.
