Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Goderich location is a single-story standalone restaurant with light grey stucco walls, dark stone veneer base, red accent trim, large windows, and covered entrance with pergola structure. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game. There are booths, there's a patio, and strollers fit easily. It takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly. It's a wings-and-beer room at heart, so go in expecting a sports bar, not a quiet dinner. Crayons come out for the kids.
