Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Albert Park location is a single-story strip mall restaurant with grey stucco walls, brown stone veneer columns, large illuminated Boston Pizza sign with red letters and circular red/blue logo. There's free parking in the lot, and the route 8 bus stops right outside. It takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day.
