Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Airport location is a single-story standalone restaurant with tan stucco walls, reddish-brown metal framework, stone veneer accent wall, large windows, and prominent red Boston Pizza channel letter signage. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There's a patio, it takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on wings, plus burgers, pizza, pasta, and sandwiches. Service is quick and friendly.
