Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Orleans location is a single-story standalone building with beige stucco walls and grey stone accent trim, featuring large windows across the front and a flat roof with geometric design elements, steps from Smartcentres Orleans. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 25 and 31 stop right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, there's a patio, and strollers fit easily. It takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
