Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The City Centre location is a single-story grey stucco building with white trim and beige stone veneer base, featuring prominent red BOSTON PIZZA channel letters on white background. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 2 and 3 stop right outside. Inside it has a family-casual feel. There's a patio, it takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly. It does birthday parties.
