Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Clearbrook location is a single-story end unit in strip mall with charcoal grey stucco walls, red brick base, silver metal awning, and prominent circular red Boston Pizza logo on tower element, steps from Sevenoaks Shopping Centre. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 1 and 2 stop right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There's a patio, strollers fit easily, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly. It's a wings-and-beer room at heart, so go in expecting a sports bar, not a quiet dinner. 👍Well liked, moderately priced CUISINE Pizza, pasta, wings, ribs.
