Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Eagle Place location is a single-storey building. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game. There are booths, and strollers fit easily. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. It's a wings-and-beer room at heart, so go in expecting a sports bar, not a quiet dinner. It's a family crowd. 👍Well liked CUISINE Pizza, pasta, wings, ribs.
