Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Uxbridge location is a modern single-story standalone restaurant with light grey stucco walls, dark grey stone veneer columns, large windows, and a prominent central tower featuring the circular red BP logo and red Boston Pizza lettering. There's free parking in the lot, and the route 605 bus stops right outside. There's a patio, it takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly. It handles groups well.
