Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Woodhill location is a modern single-story strip mall restaurant with light grey stucco walls, red brick base, large windows, and a decorative curved wood pergola over the front patio area. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 1 and 215 stop right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. It takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly. It's a wings-and-beer room at heart, so go in expecting a sports bar, not a quiet dinner. The room is kept clean. 👍Well liked, moderately priced CUISINE Pizza, pasta, wings, ribs.
