Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Yorkton location is a single-story strip mall restaurant with dark red corrugated metal siding, brown stone accent walls, large windows, and covered front patio with wooden furniture, steps from Trans-Canada Highway. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, it takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
