Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Kildonan Crossing location is a single-story strip mall corner unit with red and beige stucco exterior, grey stone wainscoting, large front windows, and prominent red Boston Pizza channel letter signage. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 38 and D10 stop right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game. There are booths, there's a patio, and strollers fit easily. It takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads.
