Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Westmere location is a single-story corner plaza building with red brick and grey stone veneer exterior, featuring large windows and a covered entrance with prominent red circular Boston Pizza logo, steps from Chestermere Lake. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, there's a patio, and strollers fit easily. It takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. Service is quick and friendly. It's a wings-and-beer room at heart, so go in expecting a sports bar, not a quiet dinner. 👍Well liked, moderately priced CUISINE Pizza, pasta, wings, ribs.
