Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Worthington location is a single-story standalone restaurant with beige stucco walls, tan stone veneer accent columns, large glass windows, and a prominent circular red and blue Boston Pizza logo on the front facade. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes F7 and F9 stop right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, there's a patio, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
