Kids eat free at Boston Pizza in Halifax’s South End every day.

Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The South End location is a three-story beige stone corner building with curved facade, red Boston Pizza channel letter signage, and traditional downtown architecture. It sits in the Barrington Place plaza, with free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 1 and 2 stop right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There's a patio, strollers fit easily, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly. It's a wings-and-beer room at heart, so go in expecting a sports bar, not a quiet dinner. 👍Well liked, moderately priced CUISINE Pizza, pasta, wings, ribs.
