Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Willow Point location is a one-story strip mall restaurant with red stucco upper section, beige lower section, prominent illuminated Boston Pizza signage with pizza slice logo, and small fenced patio area in front. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, it takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly. It's a wings-and-beer room at heart, so go in expecting a sports bar, not a quiet dinner. The food comes out fresh. 👍Well liked, moderately priced CUISINE Pizza, pasta, wings, ribs.
