Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Lachenaie location is a single-story strip mall restaurant with beige stucco walls, grey stone accent columns, and red Boston Pizza illuminated sign with circular BP logo. There's free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 11 and 40 stop right outside. There's a patio, it takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
