Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Timberlea location is a single-story tan stucco strip mall building with dark stone accents, covered entrance with metal canopy, and prominent red Boston Pizza signage with circular logo. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, there's a patio, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Service is quick and friendly.
