Boston Pizza opened in Edmonton in 1964, named by founder Gus Agioritis for a city he dreamed of visiting. It grew into Canada's largest casual dining chain, with a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other. The Tillsonburg location is a single-story downtown storefront with beige stucco upper walls, reddish brown stone lower facade, stone columns flanking recessed glass entrance, and prominent red Boston Pizza signage with BP logo, steps from Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. There's free parking in the lot. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game. There are booths, there's a patio, and strollers fit easily. It takes reservations, and the washroom is wheelchair accessible. Kids ten and under eat free every day. The menu runs on pizza, plus burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and salads.
