KIDS EAT FREETHE BARLEY MOW GASTROPUBSkyline-Fisher Heights, OttawaSUNDAY
Verified by staff, July 2026
Kids eat free at The Barley Mow Gastropub in Ottawa’s Skyline-Fisher Heights Sunday.
The first Barley Mow opened in 1996 in Kanata, an English-style neighbourhood pub for Ottawa's growing suburbs. The chain spread across the region one community fixture at a time. The Skyline-Fisher Heights location sits in Emerald Plaza, with free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 53 and 80 stop right outside. Inside it's a proper sports bar with TVs for the game and a full bar. There are booths, there's a patio, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. On Sunday, kids eat free with an adult entrée. The menu runs on wings, plus sandwiches, fries, burgers, and salads. Service is quick and friendly. It's a wings-and-beer room at heart, so go in expecting a sports bar, not a quiet dinner. 👍Well liked, moderately priced CUISINE Fish and chips, wings, curry, pub burgers, poutine.
