Swiss Chalet has roasted chicken on a spit since 1954. The restaurant took its name from the Alpine look of the first location on Bloor Street in Toronto. That same rotisserie chicken, fresh-cut fries, and infamous "Chalet" dipping sauce survives today. The Morningside Heights location sits in the Pleasant Corner plaza, with free parking in the lot, and the route 116 bus stops right outside. Inside it has a family-casual feel.
