Swiss Chalet has roasted chicken on a spit since 1954. The restaurant took its name from the Alpine look of the first location on Bloor Street in Toronto. That same rotisserie chicken, fresh-cut fries, and infamous "Chalet" dipping sauce survives today. The South Fergus location has free parking in the lot. Inside it has a family-casual feel. The washroom is wheelchair accessible. On Wednesday, kids ten and under eat free with an adult entrée. The menu runs on fries, plus parmigiana, ribs, tenders, and pizza.
