Swiss Chalet has roasted chicken on a spit since 1954. The restaurant took its name from the Alpine look of the first location on Bloor Street in Toronto. That same rotisserie chicken, fresh-cut fries, and infamous "Chalet" dipping sauce survives today. The Forest Hill location is a single-storey building. It sits in Highland Park Shopping Centre, with free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 12 and 204 stop right outside. Inside it has a family-casual feel. The washroom is wheelchair accessible.
