Swiss Chalet has roasted chicken on a spit since 1954. The restaurant took its name from the Alpine look of the first location on Bloor Street in Toronto. That same rotisserie chicken, fresh-cut fries, and infamous "Chalet" dipping sauce survives today. The Southeast Calgary location sits in Shepard Regional Centre, with free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 92 and 117 stop right outside. Inside it has a family-casual feel.
