Swiss Chalet has roasted chicken on a spit since 1954. The restaurant took its name from the Alpine look of the first location on Bloor Street in Toronto. That same rotisserie chicken, fresh-cut fries, and infamous "Chalet" dipping sauce survives today. The Woodbridge location sits in the Weston Downs Shopping Village plaza, with free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 21 and 85 stop right outside. Inside it has a family-casual feel.
