Swiss Chalet has roasted chicken on a spit since 1954. The restaurant took its name from the Alpine look of the first location on Bloor Street in Toronto. That same rotisserie chicken, fresh-cut fries, and infamous "Chalet" dipping sauce survives today. Streetcars on routes 509 and 510 stop right outside the Harbourfront location. Inside it has a family-casual feel. There are booths, there's a patio, and it takes reservations. The washroom is wheelchair accessible.
